Video: How Israel helped bring down Jeremy Corbyn

In this new video, I tell the story of how a hostile foreign government helped stop a socialist becoming Britain’s prime minister.

I’ve covered the story of the “anti-Semitism” witch hunt in the Labour Party since 2015. In that time, I’ve written an estimated 150 articles on the topic.

We’ve reported on the propaganda war against Jeremy Corbyn for years, and in detail.

But it can be a lot to take in. And for those who haven’t followed the story all along, it may be hard to know where to start.

So The Electronic Intifada is proud to present this mini-documentary, giving an overview of how Israel and its lobby helped bring down Jeremy Corbyn.

It uses archive video clips and primary documents to bust the media smears about “Labour anti-Semitism.”

Yes! When and why was it decided that we can't listen to information without extraneous and unnecessary background music? I've recently been watching an old. excellent Granada 6-part doc on the Spanish Civil war, broadcast in the 1970s, I believe. The only music in that came from the Spanish people in the documentary! If we were capable of following without extraneous background music then, why is it assumed that we can't now?

Excellent. Brilliantly researched and presented. The great scandal of politics in the UK today is the operation of the dark, sinister bureaucracy at the core of Labour. Hundreds, at least, of suspended members who have made subject access requests have received no response. The Information Commissioner's Office has issued a statement that Labour is in breach of the law. However, the IOC is taking no action because there are too many cases. It seems breaking the law is fine if you do it wholesale. Labour is, of course, also without its own rules. Thousands of members have been left in limbo, the cases against them stalled, no investigations undertaken, no reference to the NEC. In addition, the General Secretary issues diktats Stalin would have been proud of. What conclusions should we draw and how should we act? Labour is embarked on the short route to totalitarianism. The current leadership believes in winning power but rejects the purpose of doing so: to reform society in the direction of equality. Labour is hopeless as a party of serious reform. What to do? Leave Labour. Engage in activity whose aim is to dismantle the power of the rich and the State which supports them. Take as much peaceful direct action as possible. Also, with elections pending, what to do with your vote? Don't give succour to Starmer and Evans. These people unapologetically support the Israeli State and its racism. They can't do that and stand for justice, peace, equality, democracy. We need to take power away from politicians, to dissolve it rather than concentrate it. The contract between the government and the governed has broken down when a foreign power is permitted to help destroy an elected party leader. Put no faith in Labour or its leaders, or any political party. Put faith in the people, in our capacity to do things for ourselves, in our desire to govern ourselves rather than be governed by cowards and liars. We have a world to gain and we can free Palestine.
