World association of professional footballers FIFPro calls on Israel to release Mahmoud Sarsak

FIFPro, the association representing professional footballers in dozens of countries, called on Israel immediately to release Mahmoud Sarsak, a Palestinian football player who has been on hunger strike since March to protest his detention for three years without charge or trial by Israel.

A float at San Francisco Pride, sponsored by a pro-Israel group, used intentionally humiliating sexual depictions of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. While purporting to defend the rights and dignity of queer people, the display sought to ridicule Ahmedinejad by associating him with gay identity and homosexuality in negative ways. 

Palestinian labor expresses solidarity with European trade unions resisting austerity, supporting BDS measures

The Palestinian Trade Union Coalition for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions has issued a statement of solidarity with European trade unions resisting public spending cuts and job losses and restated its support for proactive BDS campaigns and a boycott of the Histadrut.
