Israel’s airstikes on Gaza have killed more than 40 Palestinians over the last four days, according to the latest reports by Ma’an News Agency, and have wounded hundreds. Our blogger Rana Baker (@RanaGaza on Twitter), who was on the EI podcast yesterday, produced a short audio report of today’s attacks from Gaza City.

In the audio report, the constant buzzing from Israel’s drones can be clearly heard.

Thank you Rana. You are very brave and frankly I feel as though I am holding your hand.

At fifteen minutes past nine at night in the Gaza, Rana's courage is exemplified by her calm delivery from a darkened room which we all share. The criminal Israeli attackers can claim no such honour.
