Well said. A key aspect of German reparations in the name of Holocaust survivors (from 1952 onward) has been that the revenue be deposited with Israeli agencies rather than going directly to designated recipients. The money was then invested in building the state of Israel in all its racist glory. Once again, the fate of individual Jews was of secondary importance where the interests of the Zionist movement were involved. As well, it should be borne in mind that these payments in compensation have been conferred on a state that didn't exist when the crimes in question were committed. In this respect, Israel's legal entitlement to the money has never been seriously tested.
