Annual Houston Palestine Film Festival opens tomorrow night!

The fifth annual Houston Palestine Film Festival opens tomorrow night with a screening of Jaffa, The Orange’s Clockwork with guest appearance by filmmaker Eyal Sivan. The screening will be accompanied by a photo exhibition by Khalil AbuSharekh.

Saturday night will feature a series of short films and a q & a with filmmaker Sama Alshaibi to be followed by a reception and musical performance by David Sha. On Sunday, the late Juliano Mer Khamis’ film Arna’s Children will be screened with a guest appearance by Matan Cohen.

The following weekend will feature Fix Me by Raed Andoni and The Imperialists Are Still Alive! by Zeina Durra, followed by q & a with actor José Maria de Tavira and a closing night party.
