Israel is currently taking concrete steps towards deporting internationals and solidarity activists who reside in the West Bank. Meanwhile, the Palestinian Authority are legitimizing Israel’s deportation efforts by accusing some foreigners of inciting against the PA.
The violence of the Palestinian Authority police is not unexpected, yet it was still shocking to see such unfettered brutality on the streets of Ramallah in the middle of the afternoon.
