Salam Fayyad’s neo-liberal administration has pointed the finger at the Israeli occupation… while at the same time being fully dependent on it and even complicit on the security front.
The violence of the Palestinian Authority police is not unexpected, yet it was still shocking to see such unfettered brutality on the streets of Ramallah in the middle of the afternoon.
Saturday and Sunday’s brutally repressed protests in Ramallah sent a clear message tot he PA that normalization with the occupation would be met with mass mobilization.
