Two significant milestones in the Palestinian-led movement for boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) were marked this week with a vote by the UK’s Trades Union Congress to reconsider its ties with Israel’s national trade union federation, and with the confirmation that boycott target Agrexco was ordered into liquidation.

Palestinian civil society welcomes Turkey’s military and diplomatic sanctions on Israel, which come two months after Palestinians called for a comprehensive military embargo on Israel.

A coalition of groups in South Korea issued an English-language statement today calling on their government to cancel a planned sale of the Korean Aerospace Industries’ T-50 fighter jet to Israel.
