Twenty Bedouin communities in the Jerusalem area, in which 2,600 persons live, are facing displacement to make way for Israeli settlement expansion

The Israeli government plans to forcibly displace 27,000 Bedouins in the occupied West Bank within three to six years.

The Israeli government has been increasingly revoking Jerusalem residency IDs and using tax collection as a means of forcing Palestinians out of the city. Jillian Kestler-D’Amours reports.
