The Israeli government and Israeli settlement industries are committing the crime of pillage in the Dead Sea, according to a new report.

“…It’s great to have this legal claim made in a very public way by a Palestinian human rights organization [Al Haq], because in the menatime of course, Ahava – and we’ve been dealing with them since June 2009 – they continue to claim that what they do is completely legal, as the Israeli government claims that the quarrying and excavation that they’ve got going on in the West Bank is also legal. But the only ones that think this is legal is the Israeli government – and the rest of the world thinks it’s occupation profiteering – [this] is what we call it.”
